iin regards to my previous post.

yes im back. and im back to work already.
although im quite energetic..cant help but feel tired at the second half the day.
and my work scope is expanding. and i have to do alot of reading.

anyways im not gonna talk about my work la.
im as dark as my brother. its true
haha i think it'll take awhile for me to turn back to my usual colour.

BINTAN IS FUN!
never regard going for the retreat even though i really really dint feel like going in the first place..


i went there as an advance party and pianist.
ahah so i dint really get to rest but i did enjoyed myself.

first day there couldnt really take the HEAT cos its freakin hot there man.
alot hotter then singapore. worst then those we had in march.
the hot weather is PHEW.

we took a 2hour ferry from tanah merah ferry terminal to bintan port.
i believe the land that we stepped on isnt really the bintan that everybody went to.. i think its the other side.

but anyways. we saw the very re qing manager from the resort coming to pick us up.
had lunch at the Shangri-la restaurant there.. haha 'shangri-la'.. if u get what i mean.

journey to the resort is about 45mins from the restaurant. so we took a little break on the bus.


THEN. we reach the resort!
FRANKLY SPEAKING.i wasnt really thrilled when i saw the resort.

maybe it isnt what i expected.
and maybe it isnt what we always had in our retreat camps.

we usually have
1)BIG buses to pick us up.
2) shopping areas around the resort/hotel
3) airconditioned lobby
4) lift at the lobby

yea. the resort dont have all these.
we had
1)small and cosy van buses..
2)no shopping area, only town area for us to shop, and it takes us 45mins to get there, 45mins to come back
3)only fan conditioned lobby
4)er. no lift?
hahah

but it was alright because the staff there is really re qing.

omg. they're all so happy and helpful de lo, plus SUPER POLITE.
unlike services in singapore.


anyways..
we had a small meeting before we check in.

and my room sees the SEA
woohoo!

and after we settle our rooms and stuff.
we went to kayak.
hah very fun cos the beach there is damn nice and the sea is CLEAR.
u can totally see your feet and toes when u look down.

and its quite shallow.
after that we had a game of beach volley ball...
LOL.
ok all of us sucked.

second day me and the girls went for a swim in the swimming pool

after 1hr of swim, i was dark already.

then we had to prepare for the other retreat people to come so we didnt really play.
but when we did saw our church brothers and sisters arriving, they're as excited as us.
dint see any tired faces even thou the journey to the retreat is damnnn far.

everybody went down for a walk loh. im so shocked cos i tot they'll be so tired.


anyways i forgot to say.
I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE RESORT LIKE 1HR AFTER I CHECK IN.
cos its really too pretty ler.

had service in the night and dinner by the sea.
super nice.
like time stopped for us.

third day at bintan was good because we got loads of kaki with us already!
we went snokeling at the island near by and it was a good experience! since i dint swim for so long, and the sea water is so clear, and i've never been on snorkeling trip!
when i jump into the water..
CAN SEE CORALS! but veryy sad, cos most of the corals there died already.
but its still a goood experience.

u can never imagine that kinda feeeling when u look under u and see loads of things.. until u experience it.

corals, clown fish, sea urchins, school of fishes.
its damnnn nice.

and that made me darkER.

haha.
4th day at bintan.
after breakfast and service we went to play water sports.
BANANA BOAT, flying fish, big mable, kayak again.

although it rained abit, but the sun came out soon after.

i had a cut on my leg and 3 purplish blue-black on my left foot.
so now im considered a half-handicapper.
haha i cant walk properly cos my wound haven heal, and the cut is on the palm of my legs.


at night we got dinner by the beach..
super cool la.
like beach party sia.
and got people BBQ for us.

and then the very nice manager bought us fireworks and gave us a mini suprise by puttiing fireworks.
OMG I TELL U.

damn touching la.
haha u see and hear fireworks RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES.
although cant be compared to national day.. but its still fantastic.

and i think the manager paid the fireworks loh. not sponsored de.



AND! the food there is damnn good.
im shocked also.

our camp leader songyang say is he ask them to cook one.. like he provided the 'menu' for them. and they really cooked it.

he'll go back to check the resort, then feed back to them what should be changed.
i think the people there really did a good job man.

the food is damn good esp the steam egg and rendang.
wah im hungry already lahhh.


AND THEN!
my kakis went to put fireworks at the beach at night!
its damnnn nice!

and very fun cos we'll never get to put fireworks here in singapore.
hahaha.

and OMG the NIGHT THERE IS DAMNNNNNNNNN NICEE PLS!
THE STARS THERE ARE LIKE TRIPLE THE TIMES WE HAVE IN SINGAPORE LAAH.
the whole sky is full of stars like u can reach out your hand and touch them
wahpiang.

THE BEST PART IS WHEN EVERYBODY IS HUNGRY AT NIGHT!
and we all ate maggie mee in my room and watch tv together
hahaha. BLISS.

although we're all very tired, but really happy.


AIYA TOO MANY THINGS TO SAY.
all in all, BINTAN IS A REAL GOOD PLACE TO RELAX AND ENJOY,its a bonus when u have all your good friend around.


and bintan makes me slow down my pace of life.
when i came back to singapore.
suddenly time ran very fast..

the time in office really flew loh.

even when im listening to "sorry sorry"..
i feel the song is soo fast!

hahah I LOVE BINTAN!
even though im very tanned. =X LOL.

I DONT WANNA COME BACK ALREADY!
