All about love,hates,places,music and what keeps me going

working at the Popular Bookfair last week made me realise some stuff..

1) singaporeans can really be quite kiasu sometimes..
2) there're good people around if u're lucky to meet them
3) i'm still the youngest despite i change job =X

1)Singaporeans can really be quite kiasu sometimes?
well. i used to think that people can only get that kiasu..
but seriously la.. some aunties can really.. be DAMN KIASU!
cos i help out in giving free gifts to people
once they purchase more then $10... they're entitled to a free gift from popular..
so i'll stand there everyday at my booth to thank customers for buying stuff from us.. and give them their free gift.
then there's this particular auntie.. i think she quite rich la..
keeps coming back to collect free gifts!
i think she came back like 5-6 times.. and not only her.. her maid also!
zzzz.
she keeps buying stuff..then show us her receipt..and then collects her free gift..for 5-6 times!!
her maid also.. zz.
and she once came back and showed us a $300 receipt.. cos she just bought a camera =X
then she *hint*hint* that we should give her like 3-4 free gift packs cos she spent $300.
"eh. i spend $300 leh.. give me more la.."
zz. imagine that situation..
so my supervisor closed one eye and gave her 3..
which up to that point of time she already came back like 5 times..
haha.
i think in total she and her maid both got like 15 free gifts in total =XX
kiasu.


2) the good people around?
my working colleagues.
haha.. on the first day of work i met this irritating supplier(who happens to be an auntie)
she keeps ordering me to do this and that.. arrange and re-arrange stuff..
i'm okay if u tell me nicely.. but when u talk until like "i'm the boss" kinda attitude.. forget about me doing things properly for u la..
somemore the stupid expo hall doesnt have air-con!
imagine us sweating out like pigs.. and still doing stupid things for her!
haha.. anyways..
yar.. she was ordering us around..
me and my colleague really cannot stand her..
even when we eat lunch..we need to go in separate groups..

my colleauges are nice enough to help me with the things loh..
if not i surely work until mid-night.
=D


3)i'm still the youngest.
yes. i'm still the youngest amongst the bunch.
after changing jobs from the jurong office one to this..
i tot i'll get 'older'.. in the sense that there'll be younger peeps working with me.
but i'm wrong.

sigh..
hahaha. nvm!


think i'm off for some ice cream!!
yay. i wanna go ikea laterrr.
